1. Effective Date: 1st May, 2024
All water ingress issues reported for the WizMind S IPC5-S3 Anti-Corrosion Camera after May 1st 2024 will be handled according to the new after-sales service policy, regardless of when the camera was originally purchased.
2. Warranty Coverage
The IPC5-S3 Anti-Corrosion Camera comes with a five-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, including protection against non-user-induced water ingress.
- For Dahua entities incorporated in the People's Republic of China or Hong Kong, the warranty begins 60 days after the shipping date.
- For Dahua entities not incorporated in these regions, the warranty begins 30 days after the shipping date.
The shipping date is determined by the product's serial numbers or Dahua’s internal records. If the warranty expiration date falls on a public holiday in the country of Dahua's signing entity, the warranty will extend to the next working day. The warranty period applies to the device only and excludes any wearing parts.
3. Claim Process
Notification: Issues must be reported within 60 days of occurrence.
Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item to the original distributor. The distributor will then send the product to the Dahua RMA centre for inspection. Dahua will cover the shipping costs for returning the replacement items to the customer.
4. Replacement Policy (Water Ingress only)
If the IPC5-S3 Anti-Corrosion Camera fails due to non-user-induced water ingress during the warranty period:
Replacements: You are eligible for two replacement units of the same model at no extra cost. If the original model is discontinued, you will receive two units of the latest equivalent model, as specified by Dahua.
Procedure: Send the affected units to the designated RMA centre for inspection. Once the issue is confirmed as covered under warranty, two new units will be sent to you.
Documentation: Keep a copy of your receipt, invoice, or order agreement as proof of purchase.
5. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, unauthorised repairs, improper installation, use of non-approved accessories, alterations, or external factors like natural disasters. Dahua can refuse to repair or charge for repairs if:
- The original product serial number label is altered, replaced, torn, or lost.
- The product model number or serial number does not match the product.
- The warranty period has expired according to the warranty policy or the contract with the customer.
- The malfunction or damage is due to not following the user manual for use, maintenance, or care.
- The malfunction or damage is caused by unauthorised repairs.
- The malfunction or damage is due to accidents, force majeure, or human actions.
- Special price products and demo units (samples) are not covered by this warranty policy. Their warranty period is defined by a mutually agreed contract.

These terms and conditions apply only within the United Kingdom and Ireland.
8. Amendment to Terms
Dahua reserves the right to amend or cancel this RMA Policy, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.
