PTZ Dome Cameras: Flood Condition Monitoring

To address the critical need for real-time flood monitoring, Dahua provided a consignment of PTZ dome cameras, which were installed at high vantage points overlooking many of the populated areas and rivers affected. These cameras enabled emergency management teams to continuously monitor flood conditions from a safe distance and detect any abnormalities 24/7 in critical areas. By providing live updates and a constant stream of data, the system also enabled timely interventions on the ground and helped informed decisions to be made during the flood emergency.

Thermal Handheld Thermographic Cameras: Health Monitoring

In addition to flood-monitoring equipment, a number of Thermal Handheld Thermographic Cameras were also supplied to monitor the real-time body temperatures of the local population, both during and after the disaster. This portable tool helped keep the public informed about the status of their health and enabled security and medical personnel to act in good time whenever an abnormal body temperature was detected.

This type of assistance provided vital data support during the emergency, helping to monitor the spread of diseases in flood-affected areas and provide an additional layer of protection for residents living in temporary shelters.

Dahua PoE Switch: High Protection Performance

Dahua’s 10-Port Unmanaged Desktop Switch with 8 Port PoE (DH-PFS3110-8ET-96) was also included in the donated equipment. It offers high protection performance, dual power backup, and 6KV lightning protection level, greatly ensuring the stable operation of the CCTV system even in harsh environments (e.g. extreme humidity, high and low temperatures).

Dahua DeepHub: Emergency Command Center Support

Dahua also equipped the local emergency management command center with DeepHub smart interactive whiteboards and corresponding tools and accessories to provide a swift and effective response to the ever-changing situation. This enabled smoother and collaborative video conferencing and facilitated the visualized dispatch and scheduling of relief staff. With these smart whiteboards, emergency management teams were able to conduct high-efficiency meetings and ensure clear communication and streamlined decision-making processes at critical times during the disaster.
