April 1, 2025Dahua continues to lead in the realm of smart security innovation and has recently launched three new products within its wireless series. Combining AI-driven detection, extended power efficiency, and proactive deterrence, these cameras empower users to act decisively—before incidents escalate. We spoke with John Li, Product Manager at Dahua, to explore how these innovations align with the ‘Seize Every Moment’ theme and redefine modern surveillance.
What are the key advancements in these three new models compared to previous Dahua wireless cameras?
John Li: The newly launched models integrate Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, AI-powered analytics, and innovative power management solutions. These technological enhancements specifically target industry pain points including limited nocturnal surveillance effectiveness, unstable power supply configurations, and alarm verification inaccuracies.
With F1.0 aperture, high-performance AI-ISP chip, and larger CMOS sensor, Picoo F1 delivers true-to-life full-color night vision, capturing images as crisp and vibrant as daylight.
The Picoo A2 has been optimized with new Red & Blue Warning Lights. When the event triggers the alarm, the Sound and Light Alarm provides a stronger deterrent than ordinary white lights, effectively preventing intrusions. With Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth pairing, the product's anti-interference ability has been greatly improved, the pairing steps are simplified, and the installation is convenient and fast. In addition, newly designed tool-free bracket allows fast installation and removal, while older models require screws for mounting.
The Apollo Bullet C1 is equipped with AOV (Always-On Video) technology, enabling 24/7 continuous recording with ultra-low power consumption. When no object is detected within the monitoring area, the camera captures one image per second to conserve energy. Once a target enters the detection zone, it automatically switches to video recording for comprehensive event documentation.
How does the launch theme ‘Seize Every Moment’ translate into the new cameras’ capabilities?
John Li: The Picoo F1 delivers full-color surveillance footage even in ultra-low light conditions without the need for supplemental lighting, making nighttime monitoring effortless and reliable. The Picoo A2 features rapid alternating red and blue warning lights, providing significantly stronger deterrence compared to conventional white lights to effectively prevent potential security threats. The Apollo Bullet C1 operates without external power supply, and with the AOV mode, it achieves ultra-low power consumption for 24/7 uninterrupted recording. These three new products can be flexibly combined in modular configurations to meet the surveillance needs of various small and micro scenarios, ensuring every critical moment is captured with precision and high-definition clarity. This embodies the core value proposition of this new product launch.
What specific industries or use cases are these new products best suited for, and how do they enhance security operations in those environments?
John Li: The Picoo F1 is ideal for low-light environment monitoring, capable of delivering full-color surveillance footage without the need for supplemental lighting, making it the optimal choice for users concerned about light pollution. The Picoo A2 is specifically designed for theft and intrusion prevention scenarios. Its flashing high-frequency red and blue warning lights provide significantly stronger deterrence compared to traditional white lights. The Apollo Bullet C1, featuring IP66-rated protection and sound and light alarm functions, is perfectly suited for exterior property monitoring, particularly in environments with wireless network coverage where wiring is impractical.
How do the new wireless cameras integrate with existing security ecosystems, and what support does Dahua provide to systems integrators for seamless deployment?
John Li: The three new wireless products support DMSS integration, allowing users to monitor live view anytime via their mobile devices. All device functions can be configured through the DMSS app. Additionally, these wireless devices can be connected to an NVR to unlock advanced features, providing added convenience for users requiring centralized device management. The DMSS development team is working closely with the wireless product team to continuously optimize the app experience. The recently released DMSS 2.0 version represents our commitment to delivering the most superior product experience for end users.
